Protein from Dry Fractionation of Corn is a Better Source of Protein Than Whole Corn or DDGS
Although we would disagree with the nomenclature of calling protein derived from corn germ extracted using dry milling technology “Distillers Dry Grains”, we agree that protein extracted prior to fermentation is a more valuable product than DDGS. This article shows that this protein source is an excellent food for hogs. We also know that it is a good base feed for every animal that humans like to eat. It can also be fed to humans when extracted using a food-grade solvent.
